Source Classification
Evidence starts with a source you can identify.
Talvrin describes evidence by provenance and context, not by marketing labels. Source classes are defined only to the extent the approved source registry supports them — never used as generic quality badges detached from the actual source relationship.
Explained as first-party or official material only where the source registry supports the class.
Does not mean infallible, complete or current forever.
Explained as access/use following licensing and entitlement rules.
Never exposes content or rights not granted.
Used only where the source registry defines the classification.
Does not imply endorsement of Talvrin.
Describes source identity and context clearly.
Avoids vague "trusted web" language.
Prefers an explicit unknown/unclassified state when needed.
Never auto-upgraded to an authoritative class.
Primary Differentiator

Every evidence object carries the same canonical fields, whether it appears in Research, Evidence or Monitoring.
Provenance Inspector
The source should never disappear behind the answer.
Where rights permit, users move from interpretation to the underlying source or a governed viewer. Where rights do not permit access, Talvrin preserves only the metadata and actions allowed by policy — never a reconstruction of the source.
