Trust / Data Sources
Know where the information came from.
Talvrin is designed to use governed source and data inputs, including authoritative sources and appropriately licensed information where applicable. Source identity, provenance, timing, jurisdiction, version and access state should remain inspectable wherever they materially affect the research.
Exact providers and live coverage appear only when registry-backed and publicly approved — never inferred from platform architecture.

Governed Inputs, Visible Provenance
Governed sources, visible provenance.
Talvrin is designed to use governed source and data inputs, including authoritative sources and appropriately licensed information where applicable. Exact live source coverage is drawn from approved source and coverage registries — the platform never infers a provider, feed, entitlement or jurisdiction from architecture alone.
This public explanation of source governance is distinct from a live provider inventory. Where that inventory is incomplete or unavailable, the page shows the governance model and an explicit limitation rather than filler logos.
No vendor-logo wall
Logos without class, coverage, rights state, time and context create trust theatre, not transparency.
No unsupported counts
No "thousands of sources" or similar vanity figures without current authoritative measurement.
No real-time claims
Timeliness varies by source, market, rights and delivery mode — no fixed-frequency promise.

Classification, Not a Quality Score
Five registry-backed source classes.
Source class is descriptive provenance metadata. It does not imply that every "official", "licensed" or "institutional" source is complete, current, equally relevant, or suitable for every research question.
Registry classification for direct/original source material where governance has approved that class.
Not inferred from brand recognition alone.
Registry classification for an official publication channel or record where governance has approved that label.
Does not guarantee completeness, timeliness or applicability.
Source or data input accessed under an approved licensing arrangement.
Public naming and access details remain subject to rights/publication approval.
Governed institutional source class where supported by the source registry.
Shown only where the registry record exists.

Registry-Backed Public Inventory Only
A public source inventory is not published on this page.
Talvrin source coverage is governed internally. A complete public source directory renders only once a registry projection exists and is approved for publication; source identity remains visible on evidence itself where permitted.
Source inventory not published here
No provider names, source counts or feed lists are shown in their absence. Nothing here should be read as a claim that an inventory does not exist internally — only that it is not public on this page today.

Data Source Record v1 — Public Projection
The minimum fields a public source record can expose.
Every field is conditional on registry support and publication approval. A source record is never reduced to a generic "web source" label.
- record_id
- Stable public slug/ID only when a canonical public record exists.
- Conditional
- source_display_name
- Approved public source/publisher/issuer name.
- Required
- source_class
- Primary / official / licensed / institutional / other governed.
- Required
- source_description
- Concise, factual explanation of what the source is; no unsupported endorsement.
- Recommended
- jurisdiction
- Displayed where material and approved.
- Conditional
- market_domain
- Approved market/domain dimensions.
- Conditional
- coverage_state
- Registry-backed released coverage state.
- Conditional
- rights_access_state
- Public-safe state controlling source-open behavior.
- Required if differs
- availability_state
- Authoritative public-safe state, if supported.
- Conditional
- last_verified_at
- Registry verification timestamp/date.
- Recommended
- version_behavior
- How revisions/supersession are represented.
- Conditional
- source_url_or_viewer
- Original deep link or governed viewer route, only when permitted.
- Conditional
Source to Research
The source should never disappear behind the answer.
Every displayed research conclusion preserves a navigable path back to evidence where the product supports that relationship.

Source record vs. evidence item

Context Before Confidence
Time, version and jurisdiction stay visible when meaning changes.
Unknown or not-supplied context is kept explicit — it never gets silently coerced into a confident state.
- Publication time
- Displayed with timezone where material.
- Effective / reference period
- Separated from publication time when the information applies to another period.
- Jurisdiction
- Shown when legal, economic or market-structural meaning depends on place.
- Version / supersession
- Exposed when a document or dataset is revised, replaced or superseded.
- Last verified
- Used only if the registry truly records source verification/currentness.
- Unknown / not supplied
- Kept explicit; never silently coerced into a confident state.
Transparency Does Not Override Rights
Source transparency does not override data rights.
A public-safe rights/access state is shown only where it helps explain why a source can or cannot be opened. Talvrin does not publish contract terms, vendor pricing, customer entitlements, redistribution permissions or legal interpretations unless specifically approved for public disclosure. If a source name is itself confidential, the approved generic class or state is shown instead of inventing or exposing the provider.
Licensing, entitlement and redistribution live in Data Rights
This page explains source identity, classification, provenance and coverage. Licensing, entitlement, permitted-use and redistribution principles are the dedicated subject of Data Rights.

Released Coverage, Not Architecture
Coverage comes from the governed registry — never evergreen copy.
Country flags or source logos are never used as a shortcut for live coverage unless the underlying coverage state is explicit. Architecture-ready capability is not marketed as current source coverage.
- Deep coverage
- High-confidence, production-supported research depth for a named market/domain where production readiness is confirmed.
- Supported
- Production-supported but narrower than Deep Coverage.
- Limited / beta
- Available with explicit limitations; a visible limitation label is required.
- Planned
- Roadmap only; displayed only where roadmap publication is approved.
- Architecture-ready
- Internal capability state; generally not marketed as current source coverage.
- Unavailable / unknown
- No supported state is substituted; absence or uncertainty is explained when relevant.
Uncertainty Stays Visible
Seven currentness states — none defaults to supported.
Unknown currentness is never promoted to clear or verified. Restricted access never exposes content beyond permitted use.
- Current / verified
- Source record has a current governed verification state.
- Updated
- Source metadata or availability changed; history preserved where material.
- Superseded
- A newer source/version supersedes the prior record or item.
- Restricted
- Access is limited; content is never exposed beyond permitted use.
- Temporarily unavailable
- Authoritative service/source state indicates a temporary availability problem.
- Unknown
- Required source state is not confirmed; never promoted to clear/supported.
- Retired / removed
- Record no longer public/current; redirect/history behavior preserved where governance requires.
Change Without Fake Materiality
A source update is not automatically a material change.
Source change is differentiated from market-price movement and from research materiality. Where monitoring is not live for a class or market, the limitation is shown instead of implying continuous monitoring.

Source change ≠ price movement
A new source item, revised document or restored availability is a source/evidence change — not automatically a material one.
Monitoring events carry context
Source identity, change type, time and affected research relationship accompany each event where available.
No implied continuous monitoring
If monitoring is not live for a class or market, the limitation is shown instead of implying it is.
Assistance, Not Authority
AI can help navigate sources. It does not become the source.
AI-assisted content receives a persistent provenance treatment distinct from source evidence, visible without relying on color alone. AI must not synthesize a fake source identity where registry metadata is absent.

AI may assist with
Source discovery, organization, summarization, comparison, change identification, explanation and contradiction surfacing.
AI output is never presented as
An authoritative source, a guaranteed fact, investment advice, a substitute for source inspection, or proof that coverage, licensing or entitlement is complete.
Value Without Overclaiming
Who provenance transparency serves.
- Self-directed investors
- See where evidence came from, distinguish source from commentary, and inspect context before forming a view.
- Investment professionals
- Review source identity, timing, jurisdiction, revision and access states efficiently.
- Research teams
- Use a repeatable shared source vocabulary and provenance layer across research workflows.
- Financial institutions / enterprise
- Assess whether source governance, rights gating, provenance and coverage disclosure can support controlled research workflows.

Answers First
Data Sources frequently asked questions.
From governed source and data inputs, including authoritative sources and appropriately licensed information where applicable. Exact providers and live coverage appear only when registry-backed and publicly approved.
Where rights permit it. Source identity stays visible on evidence, and an original deep link or governed viewer is offered only when the current rights state allows it.
No. Sources are classified — for example primary, official, licensed, or institutional — as descriptive provenance metadata. A class isn't a quality score and doesn't guarantee completeness or timeliness.
Through currentness states such as updated, superseded, restricted, or retired, with version and supersession relationships kept visible and history preserved where material.
No. Coverage comes from the governed registry and is stated per market or domain. Architecture-ready capability is not presented as current source coverage.
No. AI can help navigate and summarize sources, but it never becomes the source and never synthesizes a source identity where registry metadata is absent.
