Talvrin

Trust / AI Principles

AI should help you navigate the evidence — not replace it.

Talvrin may use AI to help discover, organize, compare, summarize and explain research material while keeping the underlying evidence separately inspectable.

AI-assisted output is not an authoritative source, investment advice, or a guarantee of completeness or accuracy.

Doctrine, Not Slogans

Five principles, each with an implementation implication.

Each principle converts into a concrete UI and implementation rule — not a responsible-AI slogan.

Principle 1

Evidence before assertion

A claim is only as good as the evidence behind it — evidence comes first, interpretation second.

Every material AI statement links to supporting evidence where it exists.

Principle 2

Source before summary

A summary can save time, but it can never substitute for reading the thing it summarizes.

Source identity, timing and version render before the AI-assisted summary.

Principle 3

Context before confidence

Timing, jurisdiction, and version can change what evidence means — confidence without context is false precision.

No numeric confidence score ships without an approved, validated methodology.

Principle 4

AI assistance, not AI authority

Generated output does not become authoritative simply because it is fluent or persuasive.

Every AI-assisted output carries a persistent, non-color-only text label.

Capability Class, Not a Promise

What AI may assist with — and what that does not promise.

Each row names a principle-level capability class. Current availability in any given workflow depends on the approved product capability registry, not this page.

Never added without registry confirmation: autonomous trading, portfolio construction, personalized recommendations, model agents, auto-filing, or predictive market calls.

Prohibited Interpretations

What AI must never become.

Plain language, not a wall of legal text.

Not an authoritative source

Generated interpretation is never styled or treated as if it were the original evidence.

Not a guaranteed fact

Fluent phrasing is not proof. Review the underlying source for anything consequential.

Not investment advice

Talvrin is research and market intelligence — not a recommendation engine.

Not a substitute for source inspection

A summary can shorten reading time; it cannot replace checking the source.

Not a guarantee of completeness or accuracy

Evidence can be partial, conflicting, or stale — and the page says so when it is.

Not a buy/sell/hold recommendation

No directional call is ever manufactured from AI-assisted output.

Content-Origin Model

Five layers. Every one stays textually labeled — never color-only.

This is the reusable public mental model behind every Talvrin AI-assisted surface, not just this page.

Source evidence
Original authoritative, official, licensed, institutional, or otherwise governed source material.
Highest evidentiary clarity; source identity, timing, jurisdiction, version and rights state visible where material.
Talvrin normalization
Structured transformation or metadata applied to make source evidence usable.
Clearly labeled as Talvrin-derived structure; never presented as the source itself.
Talvrin analysis
Human- or system-authored analytical framing owned by Talvrin.
Kept separate from source fact; shows author/editor and supporting sources where applicable.
AI-assisted output
Generated or model-assisted summary, comparison, explanation, organization, or change signal.
Persistent AI-assisted label; source links stay separately inspectable; label never depends on color alone.
User-created content
Notes, hypotheses, saved reasoning, tags, or other user-authored material.
Clearly user-owned; never reclassified as source evidence.

Provenance in Practice

A generated answer should never be a dead end.

Research question → AI-assisted explanation → supporting and contradicting evidence → source card → original source → back to research context.

Research question — example

Illustrative

What changed between these two official documents, and which differences matter to this research question?

AI-assisted interpretation — example

Three wording changes are visible between the two source versions. Two alter timing language; one changes stated scope. Review the linked source passages before relying on this interpretation.

Uncertainty Stays Visible

Fluent output can still be incomplete, context-sensitive, or wrong.

No decorative confidence percentages without an approved, validated methodology. Plain-language states instead.

Evidence sufficient
Bounded AI assistance with source links and a visible interpretation label.
Source inspection stays available; context is preserved.
Partial evidence
"Available evidence is incomplete for this question."
Known gaps and covered sources are shown; nothing is filled in with confident unsupported text.
Conflicting evidence
"The available sources do not support a single conclusion."
The conflict is presented as-is; users can inspect each source.
Source restricted
"Some relevant material cannot be displayed under current access rights."
Protected text is never leaked; the entitlement state is explained at an appropriate level.
Source unavailable
"This source cannot be reached right now."
The UI never substitutes cached or AI-recalled content for a source it can't actually show.
Stale / review needed
Affected claims are withdrawn or replaced by an approved neutral fallback.
A material model, provider, policy, or data-flow change triggers review before republishing.
AI service unavailable
Principle and boundary content remain readable; any interactive demo degrades to a static explanation.
No broken spinner and no silent fallback to fabricated output.
Unable to ground
"Talvrin cannot support a reliable evidence-linked response from the available source set."
Abstention is preferred over invented detail; a next research step is offered instead.

Responsibility, Not Just Disclaimer

Better evidence can improve a decision. It does not make the decision for you.

Markets remain uncertain, and users remain responsible for their own investment and professional decisions. Talvrin improves the information environment — it does not transfer that responsibility to AI.

For enterprise contexts, an organization's own review and approval processes remain authoritative for that organization.

Why a Claim Is on This Page at All

Every substantive public AI claim has an owner, an evidence reference, and a review date.

If a claim can't resolve to an approved, current state, it is withdrawn or replaced with a neutral fallback — never left stale.

Procurement Without Invented Assurance

Enterprise diligence materials, once they exist.

No trust evidence should require a sales call if it's otherwise meant to be public. Certifications, audits, and model evaluations appear only when an approved trust registry says they are current.
